Systems Engineer - Config/Change Management [2021-78]

SAF/CDM Technical Advisory and Professional Services (TAPS)

Secretary of the Air Force Concepts, Development and Management Office (SAF/CDM) Network and Architectures Directorate (CDMN) Mission Partner Capabilities Office (MPCO) is charged with providing DoD-wide enterprise-level development, integration, systems engineering and synchronized delivery of mission capabilities and DoD-wide enterprise services that support interagency, strategic, allied, multinational, coalition, joint and combined Command and Control (C2) and intelligence coalition information sharing requirements. These capabilities include cross-domain services, cybersecurity and interoperability testing. The MPCO assumes responsibility for modernization, management, integration and consolidation of the Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIXS), Pegasus, Combined Federated Battle Laboratory Network (CFBLNet), Virtual Data Centers (VDCs), US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation Systems (US BICES) and US BICES extended (US BICES-X).

ITS, LLC is seeking professional talent for a Systems Engineer with Configuration/Change Management experience, in the DC area to support the Mission Partner Capabilities Office (MPCO). This position will also be responsible for performing annual audits IAW the Configuration Management Process, as well as conducting performance status reviews at the quarterly PMRs. Additionally, provide support and recommendations for the US BICES-X Configuration Management (CM) process.

Required Skills:

• A mid-level person within a labor category has five (5) or more years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description relating to the PWS task areas being supported.

• Minimum three years of experience in configuration/change management in coalition, military, interagency, multinational or joint information sharing activities.

• Experience in systems engineering, design, integration, testing & fielding, and maintenance of information system to include planning, estimating, defining and documenting the requirements for complex systems, equipment and software configurations.

• Experience with architectural concepts and cybersecurity requirements IAW RMF. Knowledge and experience with FMN, JIE and JADC2 is preferred.

• Familiarity with System Life Cycle Management Process


Bachelor Degree in the stated discipline.
