Operations Research Analyst (ORSA)/Campaign Level Modeler [2023-016]

ITS, LLC. is seeking an Operations Research / Campaign Level Modeler to join our team at the Pentagon. An active Top Secret clearance is required.



Qualified candidates should be adept at effectively leading analytic efforts and small teams of analysts mentoring and assisting in their application of analytical skills across a wide range of disciplines. Experience and familiarity with the space domain and is highly desired.



Responsibilities:

•Utilizing studies and analyses, specifically a strong background in campaign level modeling and simulation, the analyst will make recommendations regarding the military utility, feasibility, and affordability of the concepts and capabilities under study

•Ability to coordinate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives

•The Analyst will work as part of a contractor team working alongside a broader team of government and contract staff



Required Skills:

Required Skills and Expereince:

•Master of Science degree in operations research or a theoretical science field

•7 years of experience (or 3 with a Ph.D.)

•Experience conducting combat modeling & simulation analyses

•Experience with mission level and campaign level combat analysis tools

•Experience with STORM, SEAS, AFSIM, or other related models

•High motivation, creativity, and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment

•Ability to work well as part of a team

•Strong quantitative and analytic abilities to integrate and analyze data

•An active Top Secret clearance



Desired Skills and Experience:

•Experience in DoD space and joint force programs

•Experience with Java, MATLAB, R, SAS, JMP, and/or Python

•Experience with data transformation and data visualization

•Experience with BI Tools

•Experience with Excel VBA

•Ph.D in in operations research or a theoretical science field


Master of Science degree in operations research or a theoretical science field

7 years of experience (or 3 years of experience with a Ph.D.)

TS or TS with SCI eligibility

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $135,000 - $146,000. Please note, salary is based on education, experience, and responsibilities.
