Validation and Verfication System Engineering (FPGA) [2022-093]

ITS, LLC is looking for four FPGA Verification Engineer(s) to work on the Mars Sample Return (MSR) program for our JPL/NASA customer. Example of programs a candidate may be placed on includes:

1) Fetch Helicopter

2) Sample Return Lander : Land Platform Compute Element (LPCE)

3) Sample Return Lander : Lander Vision System (LVS)

The tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Reviewing verification plan/matrix

• Reviewing verification environment and implementing updates

• Developing test cases

• Debugging failing cases

• Completing 100% functional and code coverage

• Participating in peer and developmental reviews

• Supporting gate-level simulation

This position is eligible to work remotely

This position requires a U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization



Required Skills:

Required:

• Experience with complex and large-scale FPGA development.

• Experience with the latest industry FPGA verification methodologies utilizing UVM and System Verilog - performed on Mentor Questa sim environment.

• Experience with 1553

• Experience in all aspects of design verification:

• Verification planning (Verification plan & Verification matrix)

• Verification test-bench development (block-level & system-level)

• Test case writing

• Coverage closure (Functional & code-coverage)

• Tools:

Simulation (Mentor Questa)

Continuous integration (Bamboo)

Configuration management (git)

Bug-tracking (JIRA)

Formal verification (0-in)

• Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environment

• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills

• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently

• Ability to work effectively in a team

Desired:

• Experience working with radiation hardened (Rad Hard) systems

• Motor control electronics

• MATLAB Simulink

• Experience with Spacewire



Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000. Please note, salary is based on education, experience, and responsibilities.
