ITS, LLC is looking for an FPGA Verification Engineer with a strong design background to work on the TYMPO program for our JPL/NASA customer.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Develop FPGA RTL design in System Verilog
• Develop design architecture and corresponding documentation
• Develop directed test cases when appropriate
• Reviewing verification plan/matrix
• Reviewing verification environment and implementing updates
• Developing test cases
• Debugging failing cases
• Completing 100% functional and code coverage
• Participating in peer and developmental reviews
• Supporting gate-level simulation
This position requires a U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization
Required Skills:
Required:
• Minimum of 6 years of experience with FPGA Development, doing both design and verification
• Requires the following skill set:
• Experience with complex and large-scale FPGA development.
• Strong experience in designing complex FPGAs from cradle to grave
• Experience with the latest industry FPGA verification methodologies utilizing UVM and System Verilog - performed on Mentor Questa sim environment
• Extensive knowledge of best industry practices in electronics and FPGA development, implementation, testing, and verification
• Knowledge in the implementation of electronics (digital)
• Experience in all aspects of design verification:
• Verification planning (Verification plan & Verification matrix)
• Verification test-bench development (block-level & system-level)
• Test case writing
• Coverage closure (Functional & code-coverage)
• Tools:
Simulation (Mentor Questa)
Continuous integration (Bamboo)
Configuration management (git)
Bug-tracking (JIRA)
Formal verification (0-in)
• Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environment
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
• Ability to work effectively in a team
Desired:
• Experience designing FPGA systems for camera/vision systems
• UVMF expertise is a plus
• Experience working with radiation hardened (Rad Hard) systems

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000. Please note, salary is based on education, experience, and responsibilities.
