Primary Function:

This position is responsible for managing the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific contract objectives, ensuring consistency with company and U.S. Navy strategy, commitments and goals. The PM should have a background in military operations, management, budgeting and project forecasting. The PM will be the central point of contact with the Government for the performance of all work under this contract and they should be able to interpret technical data, using a variety of methods and approaches to performing tasks.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Manage and coordinate site maintenance and upkeep.

2. Work to improve management processes and business systems that support project decision makers.

3. Lead others and direct all phases of projects from inception through completion.

4. Act as the primary point of contact for contract to establish key requirements and project objectives and will ensure that all control systems within the scope of the project are in place.

5. Contribute to defining maintenance objectives and quality control measures.

6. Implement and monitor goals and training objectives.

7. Manage processes to track progress and completion of contract work and personnel readiness in accordance with established Performance Work Statement (PWS).

8. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scopes, schedules, and costs.

9. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.

10. Coordinate communication between all companies, Government agencies and Union Representatives as needed.

11. Responsible for communicating with both internal and external customers in an effective manner.

12. Ability to interact with customers and clients on a daily basis and troubleshoot potential problems as necessary.

13. Ability to lead a diverse team and coordinate tasks of team members to ensure the goals of the project are met in a timely manner.

14. Must be able to communicate effectively in the English language.

15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:


• Experience working as a Government Contractor or with contracts, DOD experience preferred.

• Some experience working with Union laborers preferred.

• Knowledge of or experience with HF/LF radio communications preferred.

• CompTIA Security + CE or greater certification preferred.

• Solid organization skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, Office 365 Suite and SharePoint.

• US Citizenship

• Current Secret Clearance.

• Must be able to qualify under the Navy Preventive Maintenance Program and Personnel Qualifications Systems (3MPQS) to the Department Head Level (307).

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or PMP Certificate. Work experience may be a suitable substitute.

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000. Please note, salary is based on education, experience, and responsibilities.
