Experienced Systems Administrator responsible for system infrastructure, system patching and hardening, database management, and system automation. Candidate must be able to communicate technical concerns and solutions to engineering and management. The systems administrator is responsible for leading IT projects and small process teams. Responsible for developing IT solutions to solve complex engineering problems.

• Develop application deployment processes to improve software delivery to end users

• Assist with NIST SP 800-53F compliance and implement security controls as required

• Responsible for interfacing with internal and Government Information Assurance and Cybersecurity teams

• Assist with performing hardware scans, analysis, and documentation

• Provide 1st level support for engineering and office automation tools

Hard Skills:

• Strong Knowledge of Linux, preferably RHEL 7+ or CentOS 7+

• Basic knowledge of Windows

• Experience with ACAS Scans and DISA STIGs

• Basic knowledge of Model Base System Engineering (MBSE), and System/Subsystem Architectures with conceptual model that defines the structure, and behavior.

• Basics knowledge of System Integration (SI).

• Ability to define and analyze the system/subsystem architectures of system components and the sub-systems development, that will work together to implement the overall system.

• Shell Scripting (kornshell/bash)

• Experience with virtualized environment

- VMware

- PowerVC

• Hardware Integration

Soft Skills:

• Ability to pickup/learn new platform quickly

• Integration experience

• Communication with Government personnel

• Ability to maneuver political landscaper

• Strong communication skills

Required Skills:

• Bachelor Degree and minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience Preferred

• Active DOD Top-Secret clearance (with ability to successfully complete SCI)

• One year of experience with PowerShell scripting, VMware CLI

• Previous experience supporting DoD/government customers

• Knowledge of DISA STIG process/requirements

• One year of experience managing a large windows domain

• CompTIA Security+ or any DoD 8570 IAT level I or higher approved certification

Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of Containerization technologies

- OpenShift

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline

- Jenkins

- Possible GitLab

- OpenShift Pipelines, Tekton

• Strong communications skills
