Essential Functions:

• Support project assessments, requirement analysis, deficiency analysis, and proposal development efforts in support of communication and data handling subsystems.

• Support the identification of requirements consistent with the range architecture, coordinate hardware, software, and specialty engineering in order to meet the customer’s requirements

• Work with project management to prioritize project tasks and milestones

• Collaborate with internal and government stakeholders to assure system designs comply with requirements/best practices

• Participate in the design and development of integrated solutions to meet customer requirements

• Prepare contractual, programmatic, and required technical documentation to support engineering activities

• Integrate network communications functions between range assets and the coordination across other Launch and Test Range Systems (LTRS) assets impacted

• Support the application of methods and techniques to assist in the development, implementation and documentation of architecture change recommendations and CONOPS change recommendations for project leads

• Provide technical consultation and expertise on communications systems modeling and simulation

• Collaborate with system engineering team to provide network solutions for engineering projects

• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

• Strong organizational skills with ability to effectively manage competing demands, prioritize appropriately, and oversee multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with strong presentation and facilitation skills

• Strong at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential

• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills

Required Experience:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

• Experience managing projects, to include providing inputs on complex project proposals within defined time constraints involving multi-discipline teams

• Experience working with engineering design principles and applications

• Experience working on the Eastern Range (Patrick Space Force Base and/or Cape Canaveral Space Force Station) preferred

Bachelor degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $110,000- $125,000. Please note, salary is based on education, experience, and responsibilities.
