Systems Engineer [2021-118]

MOSSAIC

Responsible for systems engineering sustainment data analysis of trending, predicting, and forecasting key data sets and metrics on multiple weapon systems. This is a crucial task in helping keep these critical national assets running at optimal performance.

Required skills:

• Evaluate trending and out of tolerance behavior for the following system level Space Domain Awareness (SDA) metrics.

• Evaluate trending and out of tolerance system behavior for the following Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability metrics as defined by the Department of the Air Force Pamphlet (DAFPAM) 63-128, Appendix 6.9.

• Be able to evaluate, interpret, and apply maintenance data from multiple sources such as IMDS and GOLDesp to look for and track failures.

• Document failure modes and effects from maintenance data.

• Be creative with metrics and data to continually look for new data sets and more helpful metrics.

• Experience with Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability metric analysis

• Participate in engineering peer reviews as a document originator or reviewer.

• Continually review existing processes and seek ways to improve upon them.

• Continually communicate system performance with government customer and L3Harris product lines.

• Prepare and brief technical presentations for Senior Management and for Customers.

• Prepare detailed Sustainability Analysis Report (SAR) for multiple systems twice yearly as contract required CDRL.

• Availability and ability to quickly respond to all customer requests for data evaluation.

• Python scripting experience

• Understand how to write formal reports in Microsoft Word, to include properly referencing figures, tables, and equations in a document.

• Basic understanding of SDA missions
