Zero-Trust Engineer (Remote) [2021-98]

Army Digital Modernization Support Services (ADMSS)

• The Zero-Trust engineer will help in the implementation of a zero-trust proof of concept for the Enterprise Cloud Management Agency. This includes the deployment or configuration of a variety of technologies to include user authentication/authorization, device authentication/authorization, monitoring, and automation, among others.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of NIST 800-207 Zero Trust Architecture

• Ability to quickly learn and configure new technologies

• Strong networking experience

• Experience performing system (Windows and Linux) and network admin

• Understanding of Enterprise Active Directory architectures, centralized logging, cloud security (AWS and Azure) best practices

• Strong ability to document designs using Visio

• Client interaction skills to present designs and updates on progress

• Ability to think critically

• Security+ CE or other IAT II or higher certification

Desired Skills:

• Understanding of cloud architectures for DOD

• Understanding of DOD Zero Trust Reference Architecture

• Experience with DOD cybersecurity requirements and policies including RMF and STIGs

• Experience with Palo Alto Solutions (Prisma SaaS/Prisma Access/Prisma Cloud/Palo Alto Firewalls)

• Experience with ZScaler Solutions

• Experience with ICAM/SASE/CASB Solutions
